As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and items; monitoring access points; and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, and packages in accordance with established access-control and prohibited-item procedures.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and surrounding areas for unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, or policy violations; report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including access points, operational spaces, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
