At Nimbus Roofing & Sheet Metal LLC, we need a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist to manage the full billing cycle for our roofing and sheet metal projects. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, efficient collections, and smooth financial operations in a busy construction environment.

Most Of your Duties Includes:

Maintain organized billing records and support month-end reporting

Assist with accounts payable as needed (vendor invoices related to materials and subcontractors)

Collaborate with owners and project managers to resolve billing issues promptly

Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information

Support other administrative and office tasks as required

Prepare and issue accurate invoices for commercial and residential roofing projects, repairs, and sheet metal services

Track accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and manage collections

Process payments, apply receipts, and reconcile customer accounts

Review job costs, change orders, and project documentation to ensure billing accuracy

Communicate with clients, property managers, and general contractors regarding billing questions or discrepancies

Requirements and Qualifications:

0–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role (construction or service industry experience preferred)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/billing software (QuickBooks experience is a strong plus)

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
