Role Sr SRE Consultant Location Charlotte, NC (Onsite from Day 1) Job Type Contract Skill Metrics Splunk Dynatrace AWS Mandatory Skills AWS Dynatrace Splunk SRE Years of Experience Required 15+ years total, 5+ years in SRE role Job Description Work with Client’s Reliability Engineering (ARE) team to understand hub operations and the specific needs of individual LOBs. Develop a comprehensive view of how the SRE model can be defined and implemented, assess existing SRE models within each LOB, and identify gaps that need to be addressed. Support LOBs in implementing and maturing SRE practices. Conduct thorough analyses, propose viable options, and contribute to the adoption of the new operating model. Define and provide approach for SRE engagement models based on tower maturity and skill readiness. Conduct maturity assessments across towers to identify gaps in SRE capabilities and recommend targeted interventions. Map existing Production Operations functions and team members to SRE roles, identifying skill gaps and reskilling needs. Develop and execute tower‑specific roadmaps for SRE adoption, including coaching plans, tooling strategies, and governance models. Provide roadmaps to transition from traditional Production Operations to an SRE‑driven model, defining clear boundaries for retained operations and SRE ownership. Execute a production operations transition plan to the SRE model, including evaluating functions that remain in production operations versus those that should transition to SRE, assessing team members, and making retention and replacement decisions for each tower. #J-18808-Ljbffr Saransh Inc
