RN-Registered Nurse // OR - Operating Room Onsite Contract Starts 4/06/2026 13 weeks 10 hours/day 4 days/week Job Title Registered Nurse – Resource Team Job Primary Purpose The Registered Nurse – Resource Team provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. The RN Clinical Nurse/RT assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. The Registered Nurse – Resource Team maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to the population of patients served. Must be available to provide nursing services in all patient care areas of expertise and knowledge at all elected facilities. A registered nurse's practice is guided by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. Major Responsibilities Collects pertinent data and information relevant to the healthcare consumer. Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues. Identifies expected outcomes for an individualized plan. Develops a plan prescribing strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters. Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes. Practices ethically. Practices in a manner congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles. Communicates effectively in all areas of practice. Collaborates with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice. Leads within the professional practice setting and the profession. Seeks knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristic thinking. Integrates evidence and research findings into practice. Contributes to quality nursing practice. Evaluates one's own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, statutes, rules, and regulations. Utilizes appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence‑based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible. Practices in an environmentally safe and healthy manner. Participates in committees, shared governance, or facility decision‑making activities, developing and nurturing research to positively affect clinical outcomes and promotion. Minimum Job Requirements Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license approved by the Georgia Licensing Board for GA locations and Alabama Licensing Board for AL locations. BLS required. ACLS required. 2 years of nursing experience in specialty area required. Knowledge of patient population served, including principles of growth and development, cultural, developmental stages, and special needs. Will limit access to PHI to information reasonably necessary and share information only on a need‑to‑know basis. Physical ability to lift and support up to 35 pounds; speaking, hearing, sight, and finger dexterity adequate; critical thinking and ability to concentrate on changing patient/unit conditions. Physical abilities testing required. Preferred Job Requirements BSN preferred. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
