In this role, you will play a critical part in our tax compliance process by reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to quality and client service.Responsibilities:Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns prepared by tax staff for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulationsProvide technical guidanceIdentify tax-saving opportunities and ensure clients take full advantage of all eligible deductions and creditsCollaborate with engagement teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of tax engagementsResearch and analyze complex tax issues, including new tax laws and their implicationsAssist in managing client expectations, engagement timelines, and deliverablesEnsure all work is completed in accordance with firm policies, procedures, and professional standardsMaintain current knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting clients and the professionParticipate in process improvement initiatives related to tax review procedures and workflowMaintain tax prep priorities, deliverables, and deadlinesWork independently or as part of a teamRequirements:CPA requiredBachelor's or Associate's degree requiredExperience with tax preparation and accountingExperience in public accounting preferredExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to professionally engage with clients, verbally and in writingProficiency working with a computer and softwareExperience with compiled and reviewed financial statements a plusExperience with Click Up, CCH/Engagement, and QuickBooks a big plus.Work Arrangement:With training and proven experience, working remotely is negotiable but is not guaranteed based on business needs.We will prioritize candidates who are able to work in-officeJob Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearSchedule: Monday to FridayThis position operates in Tucson, AZ with typical working hours aligning with Mountain Standard Time (MST) zone to facilitate effective collaboration.
