Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Days
This is a 13-week contract position.
Days shift with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The PTA will assist in the delivery of physical therapy services to patients, working closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans and progress patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
- Support patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding patient care and treatment outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and communicate effectively with patients.
