Construction Project Manager

Candidates MUST reside in Florida or be willing to relocate Responsibilities: Responsible for leading the planning, design, and management of assigned construction projects. Works independently through all phases of a project, including schedule and budget monitoring. Oversees architectural and engineering design, coordinates with hospital departments for design and equipment specifications, and develops bid packages. Secures bids from general contractors and collaborates with the manager to scope and qualify bids. Coordinates facility-related shutdowns and may work off-hours as needed. Reviews and acts on project correspondence, provides recommendations on project matters to supervisor, manager and Senior Management. Manages the installation of furniture and other equipment related to construction projects and other duties as assigned. Must be able to manage project budgets in excess of $ 5 million. Minimum Qualifications: Required - 4 years - Construction; Or - 8 years - Relevant experience with Associates; Or - 12 years - Relevant experience with High School or equivalent Preferred - 15 years - Construction; Preferred - 15 years - Project Management; Preferred - 6 years - Hospital in related field.
