Cath Lab Technician

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description: The Cath Lab Technician plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to cardiac patients. The technician must be proficient in scrubbing for various procedures within the unit, such as cardiac catheterizations, stenting, and cerebral angiograms.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various cardiac lab procedures including cath procedures and stenting.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Conduct equipment checks and maintain cleanliness in the lab.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and technical staff to provide excellent patient care.
• Document patient information and procedure details in the Meditech and MacLab systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• RCIS or ARRT certification preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment is advantageous.
• Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations.
