Travel CVOR Registered Nurse | Vance, Alabama

Schedule/Hours:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
• Must be available to work holidays as needed
• Every other weekend required

Role Overview: As a CVOR RN, you'll be at the heart of life-saving surgical procedures, supporting your team by setting high standards and fostering positive, therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Circulating in the OR and occasionally floating to other hospital units, you'll supervise and guide other staff, offering mentorship and championing best practices in quality patient care.


Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Active RN license in Alabama or a Compact license via NURSYS (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS or Red Cross certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred, will consider 18 months under the highest level of license with at least 1 year of recent CVOR experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver exemplary patient care in the CVOR and other assigned units
• Circulate during surgical procedures and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Guide, supervise, and support LPNs, PCAs, and other non-licensed staff
• Maintain and promote standards of professional nursing practice
• Foster a collaborative, positive work environment
