Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with 4-6 years of privacy and cybersecurity experience to join the Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice Group in Chicago, IL. Alternate office locations may be considered based on business needs and the candidate's experience. Duties Advise on privacy and cybersecurity compliance and incident response. Conduct data breach investigations and notifications. Perform privacy assessments and data mapping exercises. Develop security and privacy policies and procedures. Requirements Experience with U.S. state, federal, and international privacy regulations. Strong writing, analytical, and oral communication skills. Sound judgment and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Certifications CIPP or other relevant industry certification valued. Skills Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic.
