Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager/Leader will provide expert functional leadership and coordinate activities for the design and delivery of PeopleSoft HCM projects. This role involves offering functional advice, leading analysis, design, configuration, and testing efforts to ensure successful implementation of Human Capital Management solutions aligned with project goals and client needs. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of functional lead experience in PeopleSoft HCM projects.
• Minimum 5+ years of quality assurance experience.
• Deep knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll business functions related to Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2+ HCM applications.
• Experience leading functional testing including system integration, load, performance, user acceptance, and payroll parallel testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with quality assurance principles, tools, methodologies, and defect tracking.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with the Ontario Public Service (OPS) enterprise HR/Payroll system or public service clients.
• Knowledge of Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
• Understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
• Familiarity with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) regulations and standards.

• Must be able to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple testing phases and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills required for client and team collaboration.

Scheduling:

• Standard project-based work schedule, with potential for extended hours during critical project phases.
• May require flexibility to accommodate testing cycles and client needs.
