Their dedication to cutting-edge technology and quality service has established them as a trusted name in the utility sector.What You'll DoThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Watertown, SD for an Electrical and Software Control Engineer specializing in Real-Time Control Systems. In this role, you will design and implement electrical and software control systems, develop and test software for real-time applications, and integrate electrical components and systems for utility equipment. Responsibilities will also include troubleshooting and debugging system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of innovative, reliable solutions.This position will provide support for new product development surrounding unit controls, troubleshooting and current product maintenance. This person is required to become a subject matter expert around our current and new control and hydraulic systems.What You'll BringProficiency in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Design3 Plus years' Experience in Software Development and Software DesignStrong understanding of electrical/electronic components and its application in control systemsAbility to troubleshoot and debug complex systemsStrong team collaboration and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.Experience with real-time control systems or utility equipment is a plusExperience with Danfoss Plus+1 software is a plus.Experience with Codesys software is a plus.Knowledge of industry standards and safety practices relevant to the utility sectorSalary: The compensation range for this position is $80k - $95k annually.
