This position is located at the Bakersfield Industry Business Center in Bakersfield.

Under direction of the manager in a Grade II field office, the incumbent performs tasks in an environment which routinely requires a calm, courteous, and tactful approach in providing customer service. The incumbent interacts respectfully and effectively with supervisors, peers, other departmental employees, and supporting agencies, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the office. The amount of time performing certain tasks may vary based on the needs of the office.

All eligible candidates may apply; however, hiring preference will be given to eligible permanent intermittent MVRs based on seniority within the above designated geographical/organizational area. The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries for part-time and/or intermittent appointments may vary. Salaries are non-negotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
