Unarmed Security Guard - Part Time

Job Description
We are seeking Security Guard that is able to work 8pm - 6am night shifts and become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Complete reports on any facility issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Possess a guard card or be able to obtain one
- Possess an armed guard card or able to obtain one
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Proven experience as security officer or guard/ or be willing to undergo training
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must be willing to be trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
- High School diploma is required
