We are currently seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our leadership team in the Pittsburgh market.

Job Qualifications:

The ideal Assistant Kitchen Manager for our Pittsburgh locations will have:

·       2+ years of Kitchen Management, KM, or AKM experience in a full-service, fast-casual, or high-volume scratch kitchen restaurant

·       Experience with gourmet burgers, American fare, or upscale casual concepts preferred

·       Strong knowledge of line operations, prep systems, inventory, food cost, and labor controls

·       Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a large BOH team in a fast-paced environment

·       Passion for scratch cooking, quality ingredients, and working with local purveyors

·       Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

·       ServSafe Certified preferred – Food safety and sanitation expertise required

·       Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

·       Must be able to thrive in a high-volume Pittsburgh restaurant environment

Job Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Kitchen Manager for our Pittsburgh region, you will be a key leader in our kitchen operations. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will support the Kitchen Manager and General Manager in all daily BOH operations for this busy Pittsburgh concept.

Job responsibilities for the Assistant Kitchen Manager in Pittsburgh include:

·       Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution of all menu items to our scratch-quality standards

·       Lead, hire, train, and develop all BOH hourly staff and maintain a positive, team-oriented culture

·       Manage prep production, line checks, and ensure proper food handling and portioning

·       Maintain inventory controls, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships with our local partners

·       Control food cost, waste, and labor to meet financial goals for your Pittsburgh location

·       Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards

·       Partner with FOH management to ensure exceptional guest experience and ticket times

·       Assist with scheduling, payroll, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
