Job Skills / Requirements Flex Security Officer Location: Lima, OH Job Type: Full-Time / Flex Pay: $16.50 per hour Schedule: Flexible – Must be available to work any day, night, weekend, or holiday as needed. Position Summary SMSSI is seeking reliable, professional, and flexible Flex Security Officers. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working at a variety of sites. As a Flex Security Officer (Floater/Rover), you will be responsible for protecting client property and personnel through observation, patrols, incident reporting, and exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Preferred 1–3 years of security experience, preferably in mobile patrol, rover, or flex security. Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or customer service. Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills. Experience in security operations, scheduling, or related fields is a plus. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a variety of environments. Strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies are essential.
