About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Nurse – Southwest Florida**Start Date:** November 10, 2026 **Location:** Port Charlotte, Florida **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day shifts with on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays in rotation with facility staff; 13 or 26 week assignments available**Highlights:**- 253-bed acute care facility with dedicated Interventional Radiology suite featuring GE Bi-plane equipment- Patient ratios of 1:1 in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a close-knit team- Day shift staffing includes 2 IR RNs and 2-3 IR Techs, with flexible scheduling based on patient volume- EMR systems include Meditech and PACs McKesson- Participation in on-call rotation for nights and weekends alongside facility staff- Support patients before, during, and after a full range of interventional radiology procedures**Requirements:**- Active Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire- NIHSS Stroke Education Certification and minimum 1 year of experience- Minimum 1 year Critical Care, ICU, or ER experience required- Previous interventional radiology experience in a hospital setting preferred- Meditech experience preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a collaborative, patient-focused team in a state-of-the-art interventional radiology suite where you'll make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
