Travel Behavioral Health RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating Shift, Days/Nights, Every Other Weekend, 3x12s.

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Behavioral Health RN for a 44-bed inpatient psychiatric facility. The RN will be responsible for managing clinical activities and ensuring the effective implementation of nursing philosophy and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of care by nursing staff and ensure compliance with nursing standards.
• Formulate and monitor budgets related to personnel, capital, and operations.
• Handle staffing and scheduling for assigned unit(s).
• Plan and coordinate staff orientation and educational needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships across disciplines and promote public relations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Inpatient adolescent psychiatric experience (ages 14-17) is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• De-escalation training/certification; SAFE Training Course attendance is available onsite if needed.
• Floating to adolescent and geriatric behavioral health units is required.
