TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, 04426!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Department preferred. License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), CPI/MOAB (preferred) Must-Have: Experience in RSI, IV, cardiac monitoring, and assessment skills. Description: Immediate start needed. Manager interviews will be conducted. Facility is a critical access facility with a focus on emergency care. General patient types include newborns to elderly. Typical patient conditions include cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic cases. The department has 9 beds. Day shift will have 4 nurses and the night shift will have 3 nurses for the 9 beds. During the day, there will be 1 CNA, and none will be present at night. Support on the unit includes a charge nurse and respiratory therapy during the day. Remote monitoring is available at the nurses' stations for telehealth and SpO2. Technology includes electronic medical records, IV pumps, and medication dispensing units. Floating is not typical unless prior agreement is established. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation every other week and holiday expectations based on coverage. Requests for time off must be approved by the manager. Scrub color is not specified.
