Position Summary Sam's Club #6621 904 Pleasant Grove Boulevard, Roseville, CA 95678-6126. Responsibilities Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively with team members, and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, prepare for seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, inventory management, operate, maintain and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate a sound understanding of product and layout execution. Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Owner: Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying members’ needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise and resolving member issues and concerns. Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate, develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style, understand roadblocks and assist in their training. Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy and applying these practices in executing business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties and feedback. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Will successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service or Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00* (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
