What You'll Do

• Lead and support sterile processing department operations, ensuring efficient workflow
• Manage inventory of surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation
• Oversee proper handling, storage, and reporting of supplies and surgical tools
• Supervise and develop staff, maintaining high performance and motivation
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing infection control and safety standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment maintenance issues
• Support department efforts to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs

What You Need

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience in healthcare or sterile processing
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Certification as CRCST, CSPDT, or CST
• Previous experience working as a scrub tech or surgical tech in a hospital setting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
