Registered Respiratory Therapist

Pay Range: $29.55 - $44.32. The actual pay rate will be based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. Responsibilities Conduct basic physician‑prescribed treatments and demonstrate competence with respiratory equipment. Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment. Administer patient care and document practice activity in the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) at the required level of competence, in accordance with scope of practice, departmental policies, procedures, HIPAA standards, and quality assurance guidelines. Position Specifics Department: Respiratory Therapy Core Function: Rehab / Therapy / Sleep Schedule: PRN Facility: St. Anthony’s Hospital Location: Effingham, IL Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Education Diploma or an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is required. Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program is preferred. Experience No specific experience required. Certifications & Licenses Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) – required. Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice – required (license must be obtained within 6 months). Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
