Gas Turbine Package Engineer

** Degreed Mechanical Engineers that have written Engineering Specifications for MOBILE AND Modular Gas Turbine systems and been involved with Design and integration of GAS TURBINE AND AUXILIARY equipment as well as Support technical bid evaluations and vendor selection for rotating equipment and auxiliaries.

The GAS TURBINE PACKAGE Design Engineer is responsible for the mechanical design, specification, and technical support of mobile and modular gas turbine systems used in power generation applications. This role focuses on the design and integration of gas turbines and associated auxiliaries, and rotating equipment.

Design & Engineering

Design, analyze, and integration of mobile and modular gas turbine power generation systems

Develop mechanical layouts, general arrangement drawings, and detailed component designs

Perform rotor dynamics, stress, thermal, vibration, and fatigue analyses as required

Define interfaces between gas turbines and auxiliary systems (lube oil, fuel gas, air intake, exhaust, cooling, etc.)

Support packaging and modularization strategies to ensure transportability, installation ease, and maintainability

Specifications & Standards

Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and equipment requisitions

Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.)

Support technical bid evaluations and vendor selection for gas turbine equipment and auxiliaries

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

5+ years of experience in design and integration of gas turbines or turbomachinery systems

Strong knowledge of gas turbine systems and power generation applications

Experience with mobile, modular or packaged equipment design

Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience with gas turbines and auxiliary systems design and integration

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials for turbomachinery

Prior experience supporting testing, commissioning, or field operations

Exposure to global power generation projects

Experience with thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, instrumentation, controls, electrical, rotor dynamics, and vibration analysis tools
