About the Role: The Project Manager position is part of Caterpillar’s Oil, Gas and Marine organization and offers the opportunity to lead the development and execution of large-scale natural gas power generation projects utilizing Caterpillar’s 10 MW G20CM34 generator sets for a wide range of customer applications, including data centers, utilities, large commercial and industrial customers, and oilfield production power. The Project Manager responsibilities cover all commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the project including planning, design, procurement, assembly, test, shipment, and commissioning. Additional Information: Travel: Up to 40% Relocation assistance is available for this position Sponsorship is not available for this position This role is located in Houston, TX What You Will Do: Organize and coordinate project processes and procedures for all teams executing a specific power plant project Serve as a liaison across project teams, translating objectives into program milestones and execution practices Plan and monitor program delivery to ensure quality standards and performance goals are met Manage all aspects of the program to ensure projects are delivered, accepted, and completed within established timelines Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent experience Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience Cross-functional project or program management experience Top Candidates Will Also Have: Strong verbal and written communication skills International travel experience Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing strategies and the ability to impact decisions within and beyond the immediate organization. Alignment: Knowledge of the value of collaboration and the ability to engage stakeholders to communicate and coordinate activities in support of project objectives. Program Management: Knowledge of policies and techniques used to manage a portfolio of related projects; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control work to optimize technical and administrative resources and achieve program objectives. Team Management: Knowledge of effective team-building practices and the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams. Summary Pay Range: $147,760.00 - $221,640.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
