Our client has engaged our firm to assist them in filling multiple positions of need for their rapidly expanding surgical unit. The Travel OR Tech/Surgical Tech assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.

EDUCATION

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CST-Certified Surgical Technologist Cardiac, Hepatobiliary, Spine, Robotic, Transplants, Ophthalmology, Vascular experience preferred

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN

Two (2) years scrubbing experience preferred

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies. Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
