Maintenance Apprentice

Join our team as a Maintenance Apprentice and learn to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment while building valuable mechanical and technical skills.

Pay & Growth

Starting pay: $18/hour

$1/hour raise every month during the apprenticeship program

Opportunity to earn up to $22/hour upon successful completion of the program and permanent hire

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Assist with machine installations and electrical maintenance.
• Support mold changes, equipment cleaning, and machine repairs.
• Help maintain curing presses, air compressors, tools, and filters.
• Complete basic fabrication tasks and learn welding techniques.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in maintenance work.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, hand tools, or electrical systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO) are a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mocksville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
