Directional Drill Operator

CDL A Drill Operator Ready to roll up your sleeves and bring cutting‑edge fiber technology to life? As part of our team, the CDL A Drill Operator is at the heart of building and maintaining our state‑of‑the‑art PON/fiber network. This position is full‑time, year‑round, and typically works close to home with only limited travel required for training. Install, maintain, test, and repair buried and aerial fiber lines. Operate construction equipment such as trenchers, plows, excavators, and locators. Set pedestals, vaults, handholes, and other outside plant infrastructure. Operate bucket trucks as needed. Support fiber splicing and repair activities. Restore job sites and keep accurate project labels and markings. Responsible for site set‑up, clean‑up, and equipment maintenance. Perform work in all weather conditions. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need Valid Class A commercial driver’s license. Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes. Be 18 years of age or older. Authorization to work in the United States for this company. Valid state driver’s license (cannot be provisional), including an acceptable driving record. Physical Abilities & Exposures Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds.
