Achievement Behavior Services is a boutique, in‑home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy agency dedicated to connecting families with children who have varying diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to comprehensive ABA tools, principles, and practice. We serve students aged 3 to 23 years and operate under the leadership of LCSWs and BCBAs. Since 2015, we have grown into a thriving ABA agency and are currently seeking ABA Behavioral Technicians/Therapists (BTs) to join our network of dedicated professionals. What we offer our Behavior Technicians: A competitive hourly starting rate based on qualifications, experience, and credentials. Work collaboratively with leaders in our ABA Professionals Network. Training and mentorship from your immediate supervisor. Opportunities to pursue further professional credentials, such as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Personalized collaboration and training under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In the role as an ABA Behavior Technician, You will work directly, one‑on‑one, with a child in their natural, home environment. Supported by a lead BCBA, you will implement the individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and collect numerical and qualitative data on the child’s progress daily. The charted data will be used to refine interventions and set new personalized goals as the relationship develops month‑to‑month. The Qualifications of a Behavior Technician: Relevant fields of study: Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech‑Language Pathology, or Human Services. Certifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board; Crisis Intervention Training; Sexual Harassment and Mandated Reporter Training; CPR, AED, and First Aid Training. Ability to adapt under high‑stress situations. Professional administrative reliability: punctuality and responsiveness. Proven experience working with preschool and elementary school‑aged children. Experience with patients suffering from autism and developmental issues. Other experience, certificates, or qualifications required by New York State. Intuitive, engaging, compassionate, and person‑centered approach. Experience documenting progress notes and data points aligned with individualized treatment plans and goals. Imaginative play skills and creativity to structure learning in a home setting.
