Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting. Experience with inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred. Ability to manage 1:1 patient caseloads and provide 1.5 hour treatment sessions as needed. Experience with common physical therapy equipment used on the unit preferred, such as treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS. Experience with electronic medical record systems. Meditech experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Comfort functioning independently in a fast-paced hospital unit. IRF clinical experience preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 07:00–19:00. Patient ratio: 1:1. Call/coverage: rotating weekends. Documentation system: Meditech. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized rehabilitation interventions that support functional recovery and safe discharge planning.
