Requirements Active LPN license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required and nonnegotiable IV certification preferred Dementia capable care certification preferred Reliable personal transportation required due to lack of public transit access, with all-season or snow tires recommended November through April Responsibilities Post-acute skilled nursing rehab unit within a long-term care nursing and rehabilitation facility Patient population aged 60+ requiring skilled nursing rehab care Nurse to patient ratio of 1:14 with ancillary staff support including 3 LNA/CNA/PCT per shift and a unit secretary on day shift Documentation and medication administration managed through EPIC Uses IV pumps and performs phlebotomy, EKGs, transports, nebulizer to inhaler conversions, and IV starts 12-hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Sunday with varied scheduling and no guaranteed days off Minimum every other weekend requirement with schedule adjusted to meet unit needs Must be able to work all holidays Occasional/as-needed floating to long-term care and memory care units Responsibilities include medication administration, phlebotomy, EKGs, patient transports, nebulizer to inhaler conversions, and IV starts Works alongside ancillary staff including LNA/CNA/PCT and unit secretary support on day shifts Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays First-time travelers may be considered Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-756857 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
