PRST is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for ongoing construction projects located in Knoxville TN and the surrounding areas. We are looking for electricians who know the trade, understand commercial electrical systems, and can step onto an active jobsite and get to work. Pays up to $31/ hour based on experience. Hours: 5 x 8's

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
• Perform electrical rough-in, trim-out, and finish work
• Install and terminate electrical equipment, devices, panels, breakers, and fixtures
• Install and route conduit, raceway, wire, and cable systems
• Bend and install EMT and other approved raceway systems
• Pull, terminate, splice, and label electrical conductors
• Install lighting, receptacles, switches, disconnects, panels, and associated equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Perform accurate electrical layout and verify dimensions and installation locations
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, equipment, and components
• Use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify faults and verify system operation
• Coordinate electrical installations with other construction trades
• Maintain proper grounding and bonding practices
• Ensure installations comply with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow OSHA requirements and all project-specific safety procedures

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Proven experience as a Journeyman or highly experienced Commercial Electrician
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installation and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safe installation practices
• Experience with conduit, wire pulling, terminations, panels, lighting, and commercial electrical equipment
• Must have tools of the electrical trade
• Must have full PPE and type 2 safety helmet with chinstrap
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Must be physically capable of lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and working throughout an active construction environment
