Security Compliance Analyst

Salary: $88,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of experience in information security compliance, IT audit, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) roles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels, including end users, technical staff, and management.
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, or a related security or audit certification preferred; alternatively, ability to obtain a relevant certification within 24 months of hire.

• Support the maintenance and execution of security compliance operations, helping ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies.
• Collaborate with the Security Compliance Specialist and teams across information security, identity and access management, infrastructure, application development, risk management, auditing, legal, and business functions.
• Perform daily compliance activities, configure and maintain compliance settings in the Microsoft Security Suite, maintain documentation, research requirements, and monitor security controls.
• Help identify and remediate compliance gaps; gather control evidence, track remediation, and prepare audit responses in support of IT Model Audit Rule (MAR) control and IT Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risk owners.
• Manage third-party risk assessments, including vendor request intake, security questionnaire distribution and review, SOC report and attestation collection, and documentation of outcomes and residual risk.
• Review vendor contracts, service-level agreements, and technology integrations for security gaps, escalating exceptions for review.
• Maintain the vendor inventory and risk register, tracking assessment status, reassessment schedules, contract renewals, and outstanding remediation commitments.
• Monitor vendor compliance obligations, including annual attestations, subcontractor changes, and security incidents affecting company data or services.
