HC - Nursing (Acute Care Local + Per Diem) WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high‑performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Boston, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process. Job Description: Compensation : $ 59 Job ID : 44212 Job Function : Rotating Shift. Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring , including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection‑control standards Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care Job Requirements: Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Minimum 2 years of OB inpatient experience: Labor & Delivery or Antepartum Active RN license (state or compact) BLS , ACLS and NRP certification s from the American Heart Association Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
