About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Location

Lone Tree, Colorado

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and all RT therapies across ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and Med/Surg units
• Set up and manage mechanical ventilators; support ventilator liberation protocols in ICU and NICU settings
• Assist with intubation procedures and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
• Provide patient and staff education related to respiratory care
• Operate Hamilton G5 ventilator equipment and document care using the facility EMR system
• Function with a high degree of autonomy while contributing as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or CRT/NBRC certification
• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an RRT
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Ability to manage a patient load averaging 30–40 points per shift
• Strong collaborative and team-oriented work style with the ability to work autonomously

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• PICU or NICU experience
• 2 or more years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care setting
