5–25 hours weekly
Additional hours available based upon referrals.
Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic intervention to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children experiencing developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, fine motor deficits, adaptive skill impairments, feeding concerns (within scope), and self-regulation difficulties.
The OT works collaboratively with families and an interdisciplinary team to improve functional independence and developmental outcomes using evidence-based, family-centered practices.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations
- Conduct developmental screenings
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions
- Sensory integration strategies
- Fine motor development
- Visual motor integration
- Adaptive skills training
- Feeding intervention (when qualified)
- Self-regulation support
- Parent education
- Home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians
- Participate in IFSP/IEP meetings
- Complete documentation within 24 hours
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Follow California Early Start guidelines

- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- California Occupational Therapy License
- NBCOT Certification
- CPR Certification
- NPI Number
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Valid California Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Background clearance

- Documentation completed within 24 hours
- 95% attendance
- Compliance with Medi-Cal and Early Start standards
- Participation in interdisciplinary case reviews
- Family-centered service delivery
- Maintain productivity goals established by the program
