Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field
• Previous direct experience in a behavioral support or related educational position preferred
• Current, valid MN special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license (or eligibility) from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)
• Nationally recognized Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, or progress toward earning it also considered
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Strong problem-solving, intervention planning, and record-keeping skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess student behavior needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
• Work closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure coordinated care and implementation of supports
• Provide direct interventions and progress monitoring to foster positive student outcomes
• Serve as a resource for staff training and schoolwide behavioral initiatives
• Effectively manage crisis interventions and support de-escalation strategies
