GI Procedural Registered Nurse Location: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie Department: Endoscopy Services Hospital GI Lab Schedule: FT, Monday-Friday Shift: Weekday procedural hours, Monday-Friday Department Specifics Two procedure rooms. RNs coverage for each phase of care, including Pre, Post, Circulate, and Charge One technician per procedure room, including support for scope reprocessing. Performs routine and advanced GI Endoscopy, as well as Pulmonology procedures. Minimum Requirements (Must?Have Skills) Prior or recent Procedural/Endoscopy experience is required. Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast?paced procedural environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications (Nice?to?Have Skills) Experience in Advanced GI or Pulmonology procedural settings. Moderate sedation experience. Background supporting minor surgical or interventional procedures (e.g., pain injections, stimulator implants). Experience in an ASC, OR, or Cath Lab environment. Job Summary As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses.
