We are currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at the Taylorville Correctional Center located in Taylorville, IL. Position Details Job Location: Taylorville Correctional Center - Taylorville, IL 62568 Position Type: Full-Time Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4pm Salary: $26.00 to $27.07 Hourly Depending on Experience / Plus Shift Differential Responsibilities Participates in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients in a correctional mental health/healthcare setting. Provides therapeutic support services, including treatment focused programming, psychosocial groups, crisis management, social rehabilitation, and leisure activities. Provides formal education to patients in routine activities of daily living (hygiene, eating, recreation, etc.). Assists in the preparation and maintenance of records and data management pertaining to the mental health treatment and scheduling of patients. Provides support for the operation of telepsychiatry services. Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.
