Certifications: ARRT (R)(CT), BLS Certification

Must-Have: GE scanner experience required; Philips scanner experience preferred

Description: Inpatient/ER setting, always working with another CT technologist. Utilizing GE scanner and Philips ICT. Department consists of 5 procedure rooms, with 2 in ER and 3 in the main Radiology department. Varied case volume, approximately 25 cases per day, depending on ER and inpatient volume. Common cases include routine CT exams, CTA with perfusion, and trauma studies. Requires experience with Med Rad injectors in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with other CT techs in the same work area for assistance. Weekend work may be required, but not every weekend. No on-call shifts or holidays. Floating is not required. Charting system used is Cerner. Team includes charge nurse and CT supervisor, with additional CSTs on staff.
