Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and therapy best practices
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Positive, adaptable, and collaborative professional attitude
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate progress records and required documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support students’ academic and personal growth through evidence-based interventions
- Educate school staff on strategies for supporting students’ communication needs
