Schedule: Day Shifts (8-hour shifts)

Assignment Duration: 4 weeks

Position Overview

An outpatient rehabilitation center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients

* Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed

* Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist

* Educate patients on exercises and at-home care programs

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and outcomes

* Ensure a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment

* Support patients in achieving functional goals and improved quality of life

Qualifications

* Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California

* Previous outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
