Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established guidelines.
• Thoroughly analyze outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Accurately document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining quality assurance in the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory space and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with a commitment to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within your first year.
• Maintain certification throughout your employment.
