Management Trainee

Overview As a Management Trainee, you will participate in our Operations Management Trainee Program, an entry‑level training position consisting of an intensive 16‑week program designed to prepare you for an initial leadership/supervisory role in operations. Responsibilities Learn the basic principles of the transportation industry, efficient cross‑dock operations, effective leadership communication, and relationship‑building skills. Complete a pilot training curriculum that includes guided and independent study. Interface with Support Center and Service Center associates to accomplish various training activities daily. Accompany and observe an Account Manager during customer sales calls. Accompany drivers on local delivery routes to observe freight delivery processes on occasion. Upon completing the program, relocate to another facility to assume your first leadership role in Operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics, or equivalent education and at least two years of related work experience. Acceptable driving history that aligns with company standards. Flexibility with readiness to relocate as needed. Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills; maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Basic computer skills and a very strong work ethic. Ability to work third shift. Compensation and Shift Average annual starting pay: $50,000 – $60,000. Work shift: Third Shift.
