RN - MS Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of Medical-Surgical RN experience License: Current RN licensure in Michigan Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA Must-Have: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Candidates may be requested to float to a lockdown unit. Preferred: Base telemetry experience. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
