Many are non-speaking or minimally speaking, rely on AAC devices, require 1:1 support, and may communicate through challenging behaviors. What You’ll Do… Help children discover new ways to communicate with the people around them. Evaluate speech, language, feeding, and communication needs. Develop individualized treatment plans that celebrate each student's unique strengths. Utilize AAC systems and innovative therapeutic techniques to unlock communication skills. Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior analysts, nurses, psychologists, and families to create life-changing outcomes. Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for each student's communication goals. Coach and mentor staff so communication strategies extend beyond therapy sessions and become part of every student's day.
