divh2Charge Nurse/h2pCharge Nurse is responsible for caring for patients who require extended medical care. Their patients may have injuries that require a prolonged period for recovery, or they may have a disability or illness. Long-term nurses administer medications to patients, coordinate patient care and ensure that patients receive appropriate medical care in a safe environment. Charge Nurse will report to the ADON and DON. Key responsibilities include administering prescribed medication, operating medical equipment, monitoring patient status; recording patient information in medical records, assisting physician with examinations, and administering treatments. This position is 6am- 6pm day shift or 6pm-6am night shift with two weekends off a month./p/div
