Communications Specialist

We’re partnering with a global organization in the health and wellness space to hire a Communication Strategist for a 5+ month contract opportunity. This role is hybrid in Portland, OR and offers a great opportunity to work on impactful, large-scale communication campaigns.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys balancing strategy, project management, and client collaboration in a fast-paced, agency-style environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of communication campaigns
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met
• Partner directly with clients and cross-functional teams (creative, technical, and project management)
• Coordinate multi-channel campaigns tailored to different audiences
• Track performance metrics and report on campaign results vs. budget
• Execute digital communications, with a strong focus on email campaigns
• Maintain high-quality deliverables and strong client relationships

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising, or health communications
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and remote teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project management tools experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred background:

• Experience in corporate or global wellness programs
• Background working in a marketing or creative agency
• Experience supporting national or enterprise-level clients
