Job Title Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift) Location Alexandria, Louisiana Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, supporting vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placements Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond appropriately to changes in maternal and fetal status Perform vaginal exams and initiate IVs, draw labs, and manage epidural and IV pumps Serve as OB circulator in the operating room as needed Utilize electronic medical record systems (CPN, Meditech) for accurate and timely documentation Rotate every other weekend and participate in possible circulator call as required Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience Proficiency in IV insertion and lab draws Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips Proficiency in vaginal exams and OB circulator duties Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Preferred Experience / Skills Ability to scrub for cesarean sections Organized, detail-oriented, and strong time management skills with an empathetic and compassionate patient care approach Why Join Us Work in a well-staffed Labor & Delivery unit equipped with modern fetal monitoring technology in a supportive clinical environment Gain valuable experience in a full-scope OB unit performing a wide range of obstetric procedures and deliveries Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 771910.
