Warehouse Lift Operator; 2nd Shift

This position is responsible for driving lifts in racks and open areas safely while picking, transporting, or putting away products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stage product or materials for all packaging, receiving, and printing.
• Complete Daily Inspection for lift; inspect safety equipment.
• Put stock away on racks; pick stock from racks; stage stock to racks.
• Inspect product and packaging visually for damage.
• Enter product location information into WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Return stock to racks; consolidate stock on racks.
• Pull supplies from racks for other departments.
• Straighten racks; remove trash from rows.
• Change batteries on lifts; meet lift operator expectations
• Transfer duties as required by changing company needs.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Be actively involved in proactive measures towards safety for self and co-workers.
• Other job activities as assigned.

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to ship orders accurately and on time to provide the best products and service to all customers.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work instructions or procedure manuals
• Math skills used add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percentage
• Critical thinking skills necessary to solve practical problems
• Verbal and written communication skills to resolve problems and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Basic computer skills

• Pallet jack, forklift, box knife

• Safety harness

• Fully enclosed shoes
