Hotel General Manager

The Hotel General Manager (GM) leads all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensuring financial success, guest satisfaction, and team development while upholding our mission, vision, and values. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive, self-starting individual with 24/7 availability to ensure excellence across all departments. Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. • Be present on property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team. • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team. • Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists. • Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance. Qualifications: • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. • 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint • High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred. Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly
